Silence of Everything
Soul’s light sheds forth new born thoughts
Darkness creeps through shadows image
Racking the soul with troublesome battles
Night’s visions span the stars
Trapped to see only the walls
Children cry in innocent’s blood
The young suffer past scars not healed
Chasing after the veiled dream
A rose given by love’s birth
Heart’s untamed beat vigorously thrashes
Surging forth boiling emotion’s heat
The tempest storm of untold power
Screaming winds blow, raising the sleeping waters
Elementals dream no longer
The moon’s child is free to dance
The beautiful rose violent to control
Hands torn and ripped by rose’s thorns
Rose’s hunger unnaturally derived
Driving its stem deep through the body
Thorns ripping, tearing, shredding
Wrapping tightly around the heart
Squeezing life’s true meaning away
Suffocating dreams source of living
Piercing the tender heart, explosion of death
Staggering wounded, blinded by emotion
Falling from cliff to icy blue waters
Swimming hard and strong to fight the current
But sources life drains from wounds
The entity of the river violates the body
Draining away all energy to fight the stream
Swept away over waters fall to cold darkness
Spinning about in dazed dreams hold
Washing upon the unknown shore
Tears fall to wash pain away
Crying screams echo through the lonely silence
The moon’s child dances around
Coming up close, taking the rose
Her blue lips kissed the rose
Petals freeze from her lips touch
Leaving the rose to fall, shattering
Spinning laughter fades to black
Leaving a void of emptiness
No atmosphere to hold heats source
Coldness reigns as true dictator
Everything faded…
The heart frozen in its suffering
The soul lost in the icy stream
All from Love’s Rose
Everything taken, everything lost
Staring up at an empty sky
No stars to ponder dreams desires
A single whisper is etched in minds hope
“I am waiting for you”
Then nothing, only loneliness
Leaving that last thread of hope
Leaving that torment
Leaving…
